Murray Doupe
Murray Doupe "held the National Day of Mourning every year" in Collingwood. April 28th, 2009 was a celebration of Murray's dedication to labour, hosted by the Collingwood & District Labour Council. The Town of Collingwood mourned with the lowering of their flag. The Mayor, Chris Carrier, shared stories of joyous times in his younger years with Murray Doupe, and how he's been a part of the community. Murray also launched the Collingwood & District Labour Council website. This page honours Murray's great attempts and glorious victories.
