Wasaga Beach Blues Festival
The Third Annual Wasaga Beach Blues Festival will be held on Sept. 13 to 15, 2013 at the Stonebridge Town Centre in Wasaga Beach. It kicks off with the Boogie Woogie Blues Banquet on Sept. 12.
Wasaga Beach Blues will feature an array of great blues music;Chuck Jackson, of the Legendary Downchild Blues Band, is the musical director for Wasaga Beach Blues, a free music festival.
Main Stage: D&amp;#039;Mar &amp;amp; Gill, Legendary Downchild Blues Band, Irene Torres &amp;amp; The Sugar Devils, Dexter Allen, Jack de Keyzer, The Last Waltz -Tribute to The Band, Mark Bird Stafford’s Junior Jam, The Paul James Band, The Mississippi AllStars.

Be The Change
This documentary film series focusing on Ecological / Social Justice issues is held once a month at the Gayety Theater in Collingwood Ontario on the third Wednesday of the month, from October to May. Presented by Investors Group, ‘Be The Change’ is meant to spark discussion amongst members of our community about the important issues facing us all. Each week after the film a guest speaker will hold interactive discussions in the theatre after the film is screened.
Admission – $7.00, Students – Free. Books of “Series Tickets” also available for $40 at Elephant Thoughts, The Environment Network, The Collingwood Public Library and Smart’s Flowers.
