We invite you to check our news release section regularly for the latest information about people, programs, announcements, issues and events in the Simcoe County District School Board. News releases and responses to media inquiries are co-ordinated through our Communications Department at (705) 734-6363, ext 11241.
  • Kindergarten
    We believe that children need the opportunity to grow and develop at their own individual rate with appropriate programs and support. It is vital that home, school and community cooperate to make this new beginning a secure and positive experience.
  • Publications by SCDSB
    The SCDSB produces a variety of publications for students, parents and the community. Sharing Simcoe is our system-wide staff newsletter that highlights good news stories about our staff, students and our schools. The newsletter is published several times annually, and is distributed to our schools and learning centres. Other publications include special education, accessibility, kindergarten and school programs, safety, and energy conservation.
  • External Research
    The Board is prepared to support educational research; however, we are also mindful that the students have been entrusted to our schools for their personal education. Educational research must not be done at the expense of students' academic programs.
